BOM Sneak Peek

We’re ready. During November and December I’ve been drawing and drawing. And over the last couple of weeks I’ve been organizing all those designs into what will be our 2011 BOM projects.

I am really thankful for all of you who contributed with suggestions for next year’s BOMs. It is quite clear to me that on the whole, flowers are always at the top of quilters’ *wanna-make* list. I get it. They are the top of my list, too. So there will be a BOM floral project, and more flower fun throughout the year. I would love to respond to all the “wishes…” Quite unfortunately, I am limited in my abilities. For example, I do dabble with foundation piecing designs, but this is definitely not my strength. So what you will continue to see mostly is what I love and what I am good at: appliqué.

I can’t wait to show you our new BOM projects… but I will keep you in suspense. This I will tell you, however. Our free BOM will be a row-by-row sampler. For members, we will be offering one series consisting of a foundation quilt, and monthly individual mini quilts to hang from that foundation. What they all will be you will have to wait and see, but I will let you in on three of them below.

There will be a second BOM for members. In the style of a Baltimore Album. Yet this one has a twist. And a challenge. Maybe even two. Make sure to stop by the website come January 1st to get in on the fun!

So here’s your sneak peek:
