A day to celebrate

In a few minutes I will be leaving for the airport to pick up Alexia and Julian and their mom. Allison will only be here for a few days, so we have a lot of catching up (and sewing!) to do in those few days. But I get to have Alexia and Julian for a whole month.

So I’m happy. And to celebrate I’ve posted my most favorite Christmas pattern so far. Go check it out here.

Congratulations, Angie. I wonder how great time you’ll have with your beloved grandchildren. I liked so much Alexia’s quilt, it is amazing that a girl of her age sews as good as she does. Tell her she’s a great designer, and I’m expecting for her new designs. I loved her unicorn, and used it in a cushion. Thanks.
    Irene.

I am a self-learner. I taught myself to sew and to quilt. And I taught myself how to draw. I love to dye my own fabrics, am a fanatic of free-motion quilting, and dabble with mixed media. I am a quilt designer and teacher, and design and publish my own line of quilt patterns. With this blog I would like to share the bits and pieces of my life.
