A little more insanity

I love quiet weekends when I am actually able to dedicate several hours at a time to sewing! And on this particular weekend I have actually been able to get quite a bit done.

One of the projects I am close to completing is my mini Insane About Baltimore wall hanging. All the blocks are finished. So now all I have left to do is join both halves, sew on and appliqué the borders, and this little beauty will be ready to be quilted. I can’t wait to finish this project!

I am a self-learner. I taught myself to sew and to quilt. And I taught myself how to draw. I love to dye my own fabrics, am a fanatic of free-motion quilting, and dabble with mixed media. I am a quilt designer and teacher, and design and publish my own line of quilt patterns. With this blog I would like to share the bits and pieces of my life.
