Way back in July I promised my friend Pearl I would put together a little video tutorial on how I do English Paper Piecing. I didn’t think it would take this long, but I’ve finally done it. (I guess that means we have finally gotten into a routine around here, and I am actually getting back to my own life! 🙂 )
I was also thinking about my friend Irene when I made this tutorial. Because it just turns out that we can no longer find freezer paper here in Ecuador. I’m glad I stocked up months ago, when I heard the rumor that this product was no longer going to be imported. But this meant I had to come up with another solution for my EPP class. So I cover that in the video, too, for those of you who are not able to find freezer paper in your countries.
I hope you enjoy the video and will give this method a try!

I am a self-learner. I taught myself to sew and to quilt. And I taught myself how to draw. I love to dye my own fabrics, am a fanatic of free-motion quilting, and dabble with mixed media. I am a quilt designer and teacher, and design and publish my own line of quilt patterns. With this blog I would like to share the bits and pieces of my life.
