We’re kicking it off today! This might very well be my favorite time of year –other than the Christmas season itself– because I have so much fun designing holiday projects!
I really hope you will enjoy this year’s selection. I certainly have enjoyed working on these designs. Starting today, here is the first one:
I am a self-learner. I taught myself to sew and to quilt. And I taught myself how to draw. I am learning how to dye my own fabrics and am dabbling with mixed media. I am a quilt designer and teacher, and design and publish my own line of quilt patterns. With this blog I would like to share the bits and pieces of my life.

I just printed out Santa’s Reindeers. They are so cute. I think that part of the pattern for the reindeer should be in reverse. Mine is not. I got 2 sets of the exact same reindeer bodies. Since Santa has both, I am pretty sure that the reindeer bodies should be also. Does that make sense? 🙂
Ooops! You’re right! So sorry about that – I put that pattern together rather late at night, and didn’t notice I was including the same reversed pattern twice! I’ve fixed it now, so please download the corrected version. Thanks for pointing that out!
No problem. I just printed it out in reverse on my printer. In fact today, I am just finishing stitching down the binding. This is just so adorable. I love how mine turned out! 🙂
