Time to confess. One of the reasons why I decided on the Heavenly Angels quilt as our members’ BOM project this year was because I, too, wanted to sew it. Actually, I designed this quilt about four years ago, but just never got around to sewing it. So here’s my chance!
Yet… here we are, more than halfway through January, and I haven’t progressed much. I mean, I cut and prepared my pieces for the first block early the first week in January, and just haven’t found the time to actually sew it. So I made that my goal for today. And, in spite of work and other interruptions (-: I managed to finish my first angel!

I am a self-learner. I taught myself to sew and to quilt. And I taught myself how to draw. I love to dye my own fabrics, am a fanatic of free-motion quilting, and dabble with mixed media. I am a quilt designer and teacher, and design and publish my own line of quilt patterns. With this blog I would like to share the bits and pieces of my life.
