During our Thursday sewing circle our friend Susy shared the project she had been working on this week: a quilted, embellished journal cover for her knitting notebook. She used lace, eyelet, buttons, paints, and tons of little beads to decorate her project. Lots of patience!
Our friend Mariangela also finished embellishing the little block our friend Elena gave us all for Valentin’es Day. She kept it sweet and simple.

I am a self-learner. I taught myself to sew and to quilt. And I taught myself how to draw. I love to dye my own fabrics, am a fanatic of free-motion quilting, and dabble with mixed media.
