Moving along with my wedding quilt

I have about three fourths of this project quilted. Only three strips left to do, which I hope I can squeeze in this morning, before my friends arrive for our weekly sewing circle. Then hopefully I will be able to quilt the border between this afternoon and tomorrow morning. That only leaves the label and the binding. And, of course, a last wash and packing to send it off in time for our friends’ wedding. Yay!

In between quilting the strips, I often have to lay the quilt back on the table to touch and admire.

The quilting sure adds a lot of pop to this project, don’t you think?

What about you? How are things coming along with your project?

Angie, are you quilting free-motion on a regular home sewing machine? Are you marking your designs? If so, what are you using to mark them? I’ve been doing free-motion for just over a year and am trying to improve my techniques. Your quilt and quilting are both beautiful!
