Holiday Sale on Quilting Classes

I am a self-taught quilter. Until recently, I had never taken a quilting class in my life. Part of the reason for this is that there were no quilting classes available where I live. Add to that the fact that I prefer to learn on my own, through tutorials or manuals.

Then I discovered Craftsy… I signed up for one class (Stupendous Stitching), and then another… and another. The classes I have signed up for have all been great learning experiences, and that is what I wanted to share with you today.

I will not recommend any product or service I personally have not used. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Craftsy platform. In my case (and probably yours) the most interesting classes have been the quilting classes, which I have thoroughly enjoyed because even though I consider myself an advanced quilter, each of these classes has been packed full of new tips and techniques I had not seen before. Even in those classes where I did have a pretty good notion of the subject being taught I have been able to learn something new.

If you are interested in an online quilting class, in my book Craftsy is the way to go. And right now there is a special sale going on on ALL their classes, at a price you can’t beat. In future I will share reviews of each class I have taken, but until then I did want to share with you this special sale, because it will only be available for a couple of days.

If you are interested, just click on the banner below to start browsing the Craftsy classes, starting with their fun free BOM.

I agree with you, Craftsy classes are fabulous! I joined the Craftsy BOM, and made it with a little twist… there were some techniques like EPP that I already know and don’t want to do again! But what really helped me was hearing Amy Gibson. She speaks so clear, that I’ve improved a lot my English spoken comprehension! The other class I’m following is Beyond basic Machine quilting with Ann Petersen. Very interesting, but I’m still in the first lesson…

I too love Craftsy. For me they offer great flexibility to work with my schedule, great curriculum, and exceptional prices.

Of course, I’d love to have them have you as an EQ expert teaching classes for EQ (which I’ve not yet seen them offer and think they should), and I’d love to see them offer classes with your beautiful applique too!
