A day to rejoice

It was just under two weeks ago that we were glued to our TV sets with the terrifying events taking place here in Ecuador. Now again, it is hard to take our eyes off that screen, but for completely different motives. The rescue of 33 miners in Chile is something that lifts our spirits and gives us a reason to believe in the ENORMOUS possibilities of the human spirit. I rejoice with millions throughout the world. And I hope the media pay attention… good news IS news!

This has to be the best news this old world of ours has had in a long, long time. The last I heard 18 miners were out. The reunions bring tears to my eyes.

I was watching it today, it is so good to see them get out and how all of the countries helped to make it happen. One world as it should be.

Thank you again for your posts. One reason I follow your blog is to remind me that there is life outside of my comfort zone, and certainly outside of our local “bubble”. Such good news about the miners!

God does good work for sure. So thankful that all the miners are safe and sound now. That was quite an undertaking, once it got to rolling it moved so fast. I thought the miners looked really good considering their long stay underground. I was glued to the news – such a ‘feel good’ day..

I have been glued too, and wow, so touched, so proud, and so deeply moved.
Angie, there is hope: and for those that have ears to hear: I was so touched by their words and their conviction!
