Two more UFOs finished! I had started these stoles last year, planning on having them ready for Pentecost Sunday, but never made it. All that was left to do was decide and sew the appliqué designs and quilt the stoles. I think they turned out quite nice… and in time for Pentecost Sunday this year.
Which reminds me: did you know Pentecost coincides this year with Mother’s Day, i.e. May 11. Kinda weird.
The following two stoles are not UFOs, but I thought I would share anyway. The green one I made sometime last year, to be used for Ordinary Times. The white one was made this year for the Easter season. I have really enjoyed making these stoles.

I am a self-learner. I taught myself to sew and to quilt. And I taught myself how to draw. I love to dye my own fabrics, am a fanatic of free-motion quilting, and dabble with mixed media. I am a quilt designer and teacher, and design and publish my own line of quilt patterns. With this blog I would like to share the bits and pieces of my life.
