It’s a good feeling to finish a project, isn’t it. Particularly when you’ve had it sitting around for a while. This weekend’s project was to finish my Country Cups wall hanging. I mean, it’s only taken me three months to do so. I needed to sew the sashings, put on the borders, and quilt it. I added a few buttons to embellish, and have hung it up. One more UFO done… don’t ask me how many more to finish!

I am a self-learner. I taught myself to sew and to quilt. And I taught myself how to draw. I love to dye my own fabrics, am a fanatic of free-motion quilting, and dabble with mixed media. I am a quilt designer and teacher, and design and publish my own line of quilt patterns. With this blog I would like to share the bits and pieces of my life.
