Book quilt and a Jamie countdown

After completing her two terms away at a college exchange program, my “baby” Jamie will be coming home a week from tomorrow! Yay! And she will be bringing Alexia and Julian back with her for their two-month summer vacation. Double yay!

Their rooms are pretty much ready and waiting for them. And I finally finished the quilting and binding on Jamie’s book quilt! During this last week I have to concentrate on getting a lot of website work done so that I can relax a bit while the grandkids are here and enjoy the visit. I’m happy. (-:

I haven’t written up a pattern for this one, but will consider it if I see there really is an interest in it.

Angie, I agree that the book quilt is extraordinary. I love the details.

I am a self-learner. I taught myself to sew and to quilt. And I taught myself how to draw. I love to dye my own fabrics, am a fanatic of free-motion quilting, and dabble with mixed media. I am a quilt designer and teacher, and design and publish my own line of quilt patterns. With this blog I would like to share the bits and pieces of my life.
