Giveaway winners

First of all, a big THANK YOU to all of you who participated in the EQ6 Appliqué Drawing Book Giveway! One of the things I love about Internet technology is how it allows people from all over the globe to communicate easily. There is, however, an anonymity that sometimes makes it difficult for us to relate. So whenever you leave a comment, I feel happy to be connecting to a real person. Please know I am always very, very happy to hear from you. Your feedback is invaluable and you should always feel free to comment, indicate your likes, what you would like to see, patterns of mine you have sewn up, etc. It truly is important for me to hear from you!

And now, without further ado, I am happy to announce the winners of our EQ6 Appliqué Drawing Book Giveway! Here are our five lucky people and their comments!

Our trustworthy “assistant” Alexia picking the winners!

30/06/2010 Quite unfortunately, one of our winners never responded to our e-mails, so we have had to proceed with a second drawing for the fifth book. And the winner is:

Mary Flynn: You bet I would love this book! I never put 2 and 2 together that this was YOUR book….I guess I should be visiting more often! I’m glad you notified me via email. Does this mean it will be a signed copy? Woo Hoo!!

Sue Kershaw: I would love to have the EQ6 Applique Drawing book. I would happily pay the postage. I am in South Korea. Thanks for making it available. Love your site and blog.

Terri Drake: Hi Angie, what a wonderful give-away you are doing. I am awaiting delivery of EQ 7 as I write this! I have EQ5 on another computer, however I cannot get it to load and the program is in a box somewhere (I moved cross country, got married, moved from one house into another and now have NO idea where the box is containing the program). So I decided to get EQ7 and my wonderful hubby got it for me for my birthday! How great is that.

I would be willing to pay the entire shipping of the book if you select me as one of the receipients. It would be extremely helpful with the learning of EQ7 and refresher on what’s changed since EQ5.

Thanks again for the opportunity. I enjoy your patterns very much and have made a few of them as gifts. All the best to you and yours and may you enjoy all the very best that life has to offer.

Bev DeMaria:  This is the only EQ book I don’t have yet. I love applique and it would be fun to learn more from you. Thanks for a wonderful site and patterns. I ‘ll happily pay postage.

Linda Mullen: I love your designs. They are easy to use and make great gifts. I had to sign up for this. It’s my 50th birthday today. Maybe that will give me a little luck.

Janice Adams: It would be fabulous to win your book, I’m still learning the eq6 and just received the eq7. I love your website.

Once again, thank you all for participating!

(Winners are contacted privately for details on how we will be sending this book to them.)

Angie, thank you so much for drawing my name for your wonderful book. I am anxiously awaiting the mail delivery and nearly tackle our mail courier when she arrives. Didn’t arrive today, so maybe tomorrow. I’m patient, honestly I am. Is it here yet? Is it here yet? Seriously, thank you again for the drawing for the book and for all the wonderful patterns that you have on your web site. Gee, I guess now that I have EQ7 on my computer, I should be able to look at your doll house or house that you’ve been doing.

Have a great day and a brighter tomorrow and may you and yours enjoy all the very best that life has to offer.

Terri, I hope the wait is worth it! Since I sent it by certified mail, it could actually take up to two weeks to arrive. But I hope it is sooner than later!

I nearly tackled the mail carrier yesterday hoping that your wonderful book had arrived, but alas, nothing yet . ~2~ Hopefully, it’s only been delayed and not lost, but then again in my excitement, I probably miscalculated when it would arrived. I will definitely let you know when it gets here.

I have been playing around with my EQ7 and am thoroughly enjoying what I am able to do and what I am capable of achieving on it. This combined with the drawing tablet (which takes a lot of getting use to) I received for Christmas, I should be all set!

Hope you are having a wonderful summer and, it goes without saying but I’ll say it anyway, thanks ever so much for all the beautiful patterns that you’ve developed and shared with quilters around the world. When I am able to keep a few of the patterns I’ve made as gifts, I’ll share pictures of them with you.

All the best and, I’ll let you know when the book arrives. – Terri at the Drake’s Nest in rainey, but cooler, Ossineke, Michigan

Hi Angie. I don’t remember getting an e-mail that the book had been sent out, just that you’d let me know. I’ll be patient like Terri :), but please Mr. Postman, bring me a letter (book). Does that age me or what. Thanks for all you do. I’m just finishing the embellishing on “All Things Christmas”. Everyone who sees it just loves it so I direct them to your site to see all the wonderful patterns.
