Cancer Awareness Wall Hanging

This year I have been trying seriously to finish UFOs that have been sitting around literally for years. It’s hard when what I would like to do is start new ones, but enough is enough! I don’t know if I will actually be able to finish the year with zero UFOs, but at least I will have made a dent in the pile. At this point I think I have about 4 or 5 large tops left to quilt, and a couple of smaller projects that just need for me to focus a little to finish them!

At the moment I am hand quilting my Lone Star Quilt. And I have also managed to (finally) finish a wall hanging I started about 4 years ago. I designed this piece when I was working on all my Cancer Awareness Ribbons. In fact, this is one of the pieces included in the virtual quilt gallery. And now that it’s finished I am asking myself why it took so long… I’m loving it and it is definitely my latest “favorite quilt!” 🙂
