Plastic surgery? What for?

Friday we finally made our way downtown with the kids. The ultimate objective was to buy some yarn and have lunch in this beautiful, colonial part of town. Which we did. And made a few rather odd purchases while we were at it. I had my camera with me, yet managed to forget to take but a couple of pictures. Fortunately, Alexia had hers with and did a better job than I did…

So we are walking down a street and pass this store that carries lingerie for “special needs,” such as hose for varicose veins, etc. Plunked down in the middle of the doorway was this mannequin wearing something we couldn’t figure out initially. And across the way another mannequin with something else… and we put 2 and 2 together! Who needs plastic surgery when for a few bucks you can get a bottom and/or boob lifter?

“Downtown” is a great place to go shopping. Much better than a mall. Not only because it is soooooo much cheaper, but because of all the oddities you can find. Like a scary mask for Julian and a really weird wig for Alexia.

Although I kind of like them better like this:

Or sharing a plate of strawberries and cream for desert…

Alexia likes to take funny pictures of people. Such as of Auntie Jamie playing around with her food…

But she has a hard time taking pictures of me. I just don’t cooperate!
