Since I really haven’t done much sewing this year, I’ve been living vicariously through my designs. Looking back over the years, I can see growth in my drawing skills. More perfection, and more ambitious designs.
The last few weeks I have been working intensely on the projects I will be offering next year, both for Angie’s Bits ‘n Pieces as well as for The Applique Garden. I thought I’d take a little time today to look back at the work I’ve completed this year, and share some of my personal favorites:

I am a self-learner. I taught myself to sew and to quilt. And I taught myself how to draw. I love to dye my own fabrics, am a fanatic of free-motion quilting, and dabble with mixed media. I am a quilt designer and teacher, and design and publish my own line of quilt patterns. With this blog I would like to share the bits and pieces of my life.
