One finished dove

Susy was the one person in our sewing circle this last week who was able to finish her Dove project. Well, except for the eye, that is, which she quickly fixed by sewing on a button.

You can see from her finished project that she changed her borders a little from the original Christmas Dove. She didn’t what hers to be so chrismassy, so she appliquéd some angels and doves on her borders instead of the candy in the original project.

I think she did a fantastic job. Both the fabrics she chose as well as her appliqué work so exquisite and delicate!
