Quilting the Doves

For different reasons, our entire sewing circle had not been able to meet for over three weeks. In between, it’s just been a couple of us at a time, waiting for things to settle for our friends so we could return to our Thursday get-togethers. That finally happened this week.

In between, my friends have continue to work on their dove projects. They are all nearly finished with the quilting process (all hand quilting) and are finishing the last few stitches on the borders. I expect that by our next meeting they will probably have finished. Every time I see these projects I am amazed with how beautiful each one is!

Our friend Susy has also been working on an EPP tablecloth for her daughter. Only a few red hexagons left along that one border and she will be ready to quilt it. Pretty, isn’t it?

All of the doves are wonderful. Lots of artistry and imagination. The table cloth is beautiful too.

All are amazing. I know how difficult is to sew all those tiny applications, but the result is: wonderful!
