More Care Packages

Evenings I enjoy knitting, and this week I’ve been working on a a couple of hats for Julian and Alexia. Last night I finished them and will pop them in the mail today, along with the lobster claw and bug mittens I made for Julian last week.

The last time I was at the post office I picked up these really cool envelopes made available to users for mailing purposes such as mine. It’s a fun way to promote tourism, I think, with photos of different places or touristic events throughout the country. I think Julian and Alexia will enjoy receiving their goodies in these, don’t you?

I am a self-learner. I taught myself to sew and to quilt. And I taught myself how to draw. I love to dye my own fabrics, am a fanatic of free-motion quilting, and dabble with mixed media. I am a quilt designer and teacher, and design and publish my own line of quilt patterns. With this blog I would like to share the bits and pieces of my life.
