My mom’s cat and companion of 16 years, Romeo Valentino, died yesterday. As any of you living with pets knows, the loss of these beloved companions is very painful, and it is going to take a while for my mom to mourn the loss of her companion.
Coincidentally, this morning I was cleaning out my inbox and came across a message she herself had sent me, with the images below. So here’s a little something to cheer us all up and celebrate one of the things we love about cats in particular.
I am a self-learner. I taught myself to sew and to quilt. And I taught myself how to draw. I am learning how to dye my own fabrics and am dabbling with mixed media. I am a quilt designer and teacher, and design and publish my own line of quilt patterns. With this blog I would like to share the bits and pieces of my life.

What sweet pictures I just love my kittie and he is now seven but I have lost about four cats over the years and it just tears at you because they just become part of your life. Please give your Mom my sympathy and blessings Sandra
My condolences to your mom. We lost our 17 year old cat named Hershey last August. They become family and losing them is never easy.
