Over the last couple of months I’ve been getting quite a bit of mail from quilters who are moving to or considering moving to Ecuador. With all this tiny country has to offer, it’s not surprising that so many people are choosing to retire here.

I am a self-learner. I taught myself to sew and to quilt. And I taught myself how to draw. I am learning how to dye my own fabrics and am dabbling with mixed media.
