Several years ago I took a fun, fun class on drawing faces on fabric, offered by Lauren Vlcek, through The Quilt Show.
After all small scrap busting I have been engaged in during the last couple of months, I have ended up with quite a few pieces of collage fabric. I usually make small cases with this collage fabric, but this time I decided to incorporate some of the faces from that class into a fabric collage process.
And here is the result… love these notebooks!
I am a self-learner. I taught myself to sew and to quilt. And I taught myself how to draw. I love to dye my own fabrics, am a fanatic of free-motion quilting, and dabble with mixed media. I am a quilt designer and teacher, and design and publish my own line of quilt patterns. With this blog I would like to share the bits and pieces of my life.
