The Process Pledge: a Variation

I see there is an increasing number of quilters out in blogland taking this pledge… and I find this type of sharing very, very exciting! After much debating, I have decided to join in, but feel compelled to do so with a small disclaimer. I know there are two constraints that limit me. First, I cannot commit to blog step-by-step on every project I undertake simply because of the amount of time this takes. And that mainly because I start working on something without a fixed plan, and let things evolve from there, without even stopping to think about documenting the process – and time just does not allow for a repeat of the process. Secondly, there are projects I work on that form part of my commercial portfolio and that will eventually be made available to members of my website. So in all fairness to them, I cannot share on my blog the process behind a particular project that they in turn are paying for. I hope that makes sense.

So, as has happened with so many quilt block designs, I am committing to a slight variation for this pledge. I do promise to share my learning process in what I do. And when I remember (so sorry, I am easily distracted!). And as far as my personal projects go,  I am most certainly committed to sharing what I do and what I learn, including the mishaps. I look forward to sharing, and to learning from others.
