These days most of my time seems to be taken up in teaching. I keep forgetting to take my camera and take photos of the shop where I teach – thought you might like to see how we go about finding our quilting supplies here (kind of like a scavenger hunt). I’ll try to remember…
In the meantime, there hasn’t been much time for sewing. The only time left is evenings, and by then I’m too tired for anything big. That’s when all the little scraps I have prepared from my scrap busting efforts come in handy. Believe it or not, working on these “projects” an hour or two every evening does lead to results!
No concrete plans for these babies yet, but I’m sure they’ll come in handy if I ever want to add some yo-yos to a project, or make a quick jewelry gift using these fabric beads. In the meantime, they’re just so nice to look at. Yummy!
Scrap busting!
I am a self-learner. I taught myself to sew and to quilt. And I taught myself how to draw. I am learning how to dye my own fabrics and am dabbling with mixed media.
