Hearts, hearts, hearts!

I am most certainly in the mood and ready for Valentine’s Day! It is right around the corner, so I’ve pulled out some of my favorite Valentine’s Day items, and this year have been working on a new project to celebrate the day.

A different kind of Valentine?

Do you love hearts? I do! In quilts, be they appliqué or pieced. Or made out of wood, ceramic, or any other medium. And in any color. 🙂

Mariangela and Sweet Valentines

I really, really like teaching. Especially beginner quilters. They come in excited and a little awed, thinking that quilting is a difficult art. And in a matter of minutes they are sewing and creating. They get even more excited… and hooked.

Valentine coasters and more hexagon fun

I sometimes go overboard. Especially when it comes to doodling and creating new designs. And as I planned our coaster series this month it was hard choosing what design to share. So I decided on four. Of course. I had another two ideas, but knew I should stop at that.
