At a time when I probably should have been busy packing and out looking for a new home I started to feel a little overwhelmed by it all and decided to halt things a little to try and get my bearings. So for the the past week and a half I simply shut everything out […]

Halloween around the corner again
Over three weeks ago I started working on several Halloween projects. When I work on any one particular project involving several similar but separate elements, I usually draw and draw and draw, and then select my favorites from all those drawings.
I’ve really been itching!
Summer is right around the corner! And I don’t know about you, but this year is really zipping by too quickly for me!
Rotary Cutting
Although things have been rather hectic around here lately, with little time for sewing, I always manage to squeeze a few minutes in.
Carnival Weekend
As in many other countries of the region, this is a long holiday weekend here in Ecuador, celebrating Carnival. A lot of people leave the city, particularly to go to the beach. As to myself, since I live my life doing what I most enjoy, the idea of going off on “vacation” is a strange […]
Measure it!

Calorie free treats

Open for business!
Thanks to my amazing techie (son Jared), our new pattern shop has gone live… two weeks earlier than planned! He has been amazingly patient in setting this up and helping me to learn a new system. So we’re ready to go!

Rose of Sharon
I have now finished the second UFO I committed to this month. I’ll probably get one more done this weekend, but it looks like I’ll be falling short from the four I had planned. I’m not going to pound on myself over that, however. I’m just happy to have gotten this far!
Completely Insane!
Meaning… I’ve finished my wall hanging. It always feels good to finish a project, so I’m doing the happy dance. Check it out!
