Let’s try this again!

Yep. I sure haven’t done too good over the last two years when it comes to blogging. Lots of changes and a fair amount of upheaval are my excuses. That is no longer the case, however. I have pretty much settled into my new house and am back to my regular routine, and it’s time […]

2017 Free BOMs

It’s that time of year when everyone is checking out new projects and planning which ones to sew this year!

A blessed time

Sneak peeks

Because of all the time taken in house building this year, work in general and this blog in particular have fallen way behind. I am now scrambling to catch up!

More house pics

Believe it or not, three months after having moved into my new house we are still finishing things. Hopefully that will all end by tomorrow, and I will finally be able to move on to other things. Like sewing, and all things Christmas!

Some of my favorites this year

Since I really haven’t done much sewing this year, I’ve been living vicariously through my designs. Looking back over the years, I can see growth in my drawing skills. More perfection, and more ambitious designs.

Just a little bit of handwork

I haven’t really done much sewing in the last few months. Besides following along the construction of the house, I have been spending a lot of time working ahead on projects for next year. (I hope you will enjoy what is coming!)

Way too long… but I’ve been building!

You must think I’ve fallen off the deep end. And sometimes it has actually felt like that. Yep, it’s been six months since I last posted, and it’s time to catch up.

I am a self-learner. I taught myself to sew and to quilt. And I taught myself how to draw. I love to dye my own fabrics, am a fanatic of free-motion quilting, and dabble with mixed media. I am a quilt designer and teacher, and design and publish my own line of quilt patterns. With this blog I would like to share the bits and pieces of my life.
