Finished quilt sampler
So, with all the wedding hullabaloo, one of the things I had forgotten to post about is my Craftsy 2012 sampler. You’ll remember I started writing about it here.
A crayon quilt
I mentioned in my last post that my daughter’s wedding took place at the Hacienda Picalquí, which belongs to the Fundación Brethren y Unida, one of the oldest NGOs in Ecuador.
Two new summer collections
It’s hard for me to believe some of you out there are experiencing sweltering heat while I still face chilly days and even colder nights day in and day out!
Are you ready for Christmas?
That is, for Christmas in July! Wow, where did the time go? It’s amazing to me that we are already at the mid-year point. And yes, that means that starting on Monday, July 1, we will be starting our traditional Christmas in July celebration at Angie’s Bits ‘n Pieces.

Bling
So I’ve finished the little project from the Fabric Fancification class. Now… the whole purpose of taking a class is to learn something new, right? In all honesty, though, there wasn’t much I didn’t already know and wouldn’t have been able to do by myself, without taking this class.
An embellishment project
One of the things I promised myself when I moved out of town was that with all the “extra” time I would now have I would get a lot more sewing time. Ummm…. that hasn’t quite happened yet, at least not as I expected. But I am moving in that direction now.
Time Out
At a time when I probably should have been busy packing and out looking for a new home I started to feel a little overwhelmed by it all and decided to halt things a little to try and get my bearings. So for the the past week and a half I simply shut everything out […]
