An Art Studio and a Sewing Room
The first two blocks of our 2018 Dollhouse BOM have been posted, and here are my finished blocks!
Decisions, decisions…
I know, I know, I know! If you’ve been following me for a while (the last eight years?), you’ve hear about this more than once.
A finished project
I didn’t really get a lot of sewing done during all of 2017. I’m hoping that will change this year. Having (finally) organized my new sewing studio will certainly help… I feel more motivated to start new projects.
Another day, another BOM!
I read somewhere that January 15 is Blue Monday this year, and as such the most depressing day of the year. It’s all based on some mathematical equation much too complicated for me to understand. What I do know is that even though it is a cold, rainy day outside, I certainly am not blue… […]
Let’s try this again!

The First Hexie Flower
It’s been well over a month, and that’s how long it’s taken me to piece the 37 hexies that make up one of the five large flowers in my Not My Grandmother’s Flower Garden quilt.
‘PEHCHAAN’ – THE DISCERNING EYE
Mi niece, Ana Lía, sent me the link to this wonderful video. This form of quilting is different, and so, so beautiful, it needs to be shared. Enjoy! 🙂
A little EPP bragging
And no, it isn’t about me and my 1,100 EPP hexagons. This time it is about that amazingly talented niece of mine!
A growing Rhapsody quilt. And a “little” hand sewing.
My niece Ana Lía is on a semester break, so last weekend she came down for a visit and to finish the applique on her Rhapsody quilt.
