Baby Booties

I am not really that much into baby projects. I don’t really like the *typical* soft pastels used traditionally for baby quilts and other projects, and the few baby quilts I have made in the past have always been bold and bright.

Itty Bitty Blanket Stitch

I am a really, really lucky person. Take my quilting friends, for example. As you know, I have a small sewing circle that meets every week. The women in this group were once my students, but after learning the basics they just sort of attached themselves to me (and I to them) and we developed […]

1135

Rather an odd number, I know. And no, it isn’t my house number. Neither does it belong to my P.O. box. It isn’t a pin number or a password. In fact, until now I hadn’t associated it with anything in particular, so it is a number I could easily forget. That is, until my techie […]

Mother’s Day Every Day?

I hope you had a lovely, lovely day with your kids. From the comments some of you left yesterday, it seems you did. 🙂 And if everyone had a day like mine, I’m sure you’re wishing it was like this everyday!

Yet another election

Despite criticism and opposition from different sectors (and my own doubts on several political issues), I do have to say I live in an exceptionally democratic country. That is, if you use elections as one of the indicators for democracy.
