A graduation gift

I was given a reprieve on the gift-making front. One of the birthday celebrations was pushed back a week, and Jamie decided she wanted to wait to celebrate her friend’s graduation one-on-one, sometime this week. So I had a couple more days to ponder on what to make.

Some of you gave me some great suggestions. Unfortunately, I was to find out Jamie’s friend’s laptop was stolen –so a laptop sleeve was out of the question– and she doesn’t own a camera, so a case for that wouldn’t work, either.

What we did remember, however, was that I have made pyramid purses in the past as girlie gifts, but I hadn’t made one for this particular friend. Jamie approved. So it turns out that just deciding what to do was the hardest part. This little purse is really easy to make, and so much fun. In fact, the purse itself can be the *gift wrap.* Jamie’s filling it with chocolates!

Isn’t it cute?

Hmmm… I’m thinking a tutorial might be in order…
