Every now and then I take some time to browse around Pinterest – gardening tips are some of my favorites!
So I saw several posts about regrowing Romaine lettuce, and decided to try it out. And wouldn’t you know… it actually works!
All you do is place the crowns of the lettuce in about 1-2 inches of water… and watch it grow. I do change the water every day. This is what they are looking like after about 5 days.
I understand this will also work with celery and green onions, so I’m thinking I’ll try that next. 🙂

I am a self-learner. I taught myself to sew and to quilt. And I taught myself how to draw. I love to dye my own fabrics, am a fanatic of free-motion quilting, and dabble with mixed media. I am a quilt designer and teacher, and design and publish my own line of quilt patterns. With this blog I would like to share the bits and pieces of my life.
