Are you ready for Christmas?

That is, for Christmas in July! Wow, where did the time go? It’s amazing to me that we are already at the mid-year point. And yes, that means that starting on Monday, July 1, we will be starting our traditional Christmas in July celebration at Angie’s Bits ‘n Pieces.

Halloween around the corner again

Over three weeks ago I started working on several Halloween projects. When I work on any one particular project involving several similar but separate elements, I usually draw and draw and draw, and then select my favorites from all those drawings.

A different kind of Valentine?

Do you love hearts? I do! In quilts, be they appliqué or pieced. Or made out of wood, ceramic, or any other medium. And in any color. 🙂

My Swedish Christmas Tree

Many years ago my brothers and I decided to not buy live Christmas trees any more. The only exception in the family was my mother – everybody agreed there HAD TO be a live tree at her house, as this is where we spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
